Calendar

These two classes are free for children living on Roosevelt Island. Classes incorporate, reading and planting so that children learn the importance of Vegetables and how to grow them.  Each class begins with a funny story about a vegetable, then kids plant the seeds of that vegetable. They get to work in the soil and watch vegetables grow.  We also encourage everyone to eat the vegetables.  The classes are held on Wednesdays between July and September. There are two sets of classes - one for 3-5 year olds which starts at 3:00PM followed by the 6-8 year old class which begins at 3:50PM.  Arts and Crafts will take place throughout both classes.  To sign up contact China Bushell at chinabushell@hotmail.com.
