NY Forward

Governor Cuomo has outlined a plan to reopen New York State. Our plan focuses on getting people back to work and easing social isolation without triggering renewed spread of the virus or overwhelming the hospital system. New York will reopen on a regional basis as each region meets the criteria necessary to protect public health as businesses reopen. Please visit the NY Forward site to keep track of the metrics used when various regions around New York prepare to open: https://forward.ny.gov

Tennis Court Re-opening Plan

Many residents have asked about our plans for re-opening the tennis courts on Roosevelt Island. We are currently working on a plan with members of the public to re-open the courts in a safe and responsible manner. We hope to be able to announce more information in the coming weeks.

Wearing Masks Saves Lives

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has urged New Yorkers to wear their masks in public out of respect for the nurses and doctors who are fighting to save lives and for the essential workers who continue showing up to work amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
