1. How do vendors learn about contracting opportunities with RIOC?: The Purchasing Department will typically contact vendors directly for the purpose of obtaining quotes. For larger contracts, in excess of $50,000, Request for Proposals (RFP) or bid announcements are posted on The New York State Contract Reporter website.
