The NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) will be conducting test openings of the Roosevelt Island Bridge on: Thursday, 9/17 from 10 AM to 2 PM The rain date is: Friday, 9/18 from 10 AM to 2 PM Please be advised that intermittent bridge closures will occur during this testing period, with each closure lasting approximately 15 minutes. Testing requires a complete closure of the bridge to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic during lifts. We thank you for your patience during this routine testing.
