Dear Roosevelt Island Community, Roosevelt Island residents are invited to a free community shredding event on Friday, October 23, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Motorgate Turnaround, located at 688 Main Street. The event is sponsored by New York State Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright, State Senator Liz Krueger, and the New York City Department of Sanitation. Residents can bring personal paper documents for secure shredding and disposal. Please note that notebooks, bindings, and X-rays will not be accepted. -RIOC Community Affairs
